About Career Connection

The Stein Family Office of Career Services and Internships is designed to provide students and alumni with career development information and activities related to the communications industry.

The Office provides a variety of online and reading room materials for students, including special resume writing and career planning workshops, individual career counseling services and other activities and resources.

The Stein Family Office of Career Services and Internships works closely with the student chapters of professional organizations such as the student chapter of the National Television Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Public Relations Society of America, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the Advertising Association of America.

The Stein Family Office of Career Services and Internships online resources include the SoC Weekly Wire, information on jobs, internships, specialized databases, professional associations and organizations, scheduled recruiting visits, and more. (Please see links listed at right)

In addition, the Stein Family Office of Career Services and Internships hosts recruiters from numerous companies on a regular basis, offering students the opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives from major communication corporations. The Office works closely with the University’s Toppel Center and the Launch Pad to sponsor workshops, seminars, special events and other activities related to career development and entrepreneurial endeavors.
